A voice product handling phone numbers, identity documents, and employment records sits at the intersection of three things workers don't take lightly: privacy, money, and dignity. We don't take it lightly either.

DPDP-aligned by design

We architected Aamdani against the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 from day one — not retrofitted later.

·AI Screening Calls is on by default so employers can screen you by voice — but it's entirely your choice. Turn it off anytime in Settings; nothing is forced.
·Delete your entire account — profile, KYC documents, and call transcripts — with one button in Settings. Removed immediately, no waiting period.
·We store the text transcript of screening calls for the employer to review, not an audio recording — there's no audio file to protect or delete.

Verified worker pool

Every worker on Aamdani is verified before they appear in employer searches.

·Aadhaar OTP-based identity verification.
·PAN and Aadhaar documents verified by photo upload, then stored in private, access-controlled cloud storage — never public, viewable only for verification purposes.
·Phone-number ownership verified via WhatsApp / SMS OTP.
·Optional: vehicle, license, certification documents.

Data residency: India

All Aamdani data — call transcripts, profile information, KYC documents — is stored on India-region servers.

·Primary infrastructure in Mumbai (ap-south-1).
·No cross-border transfer of personal data without explicit consent.

No SMS spam, ever

Workers control which employers can reach them. We don't sell numbers and we don't send marketing texts.

·Worker phone numbers hidden by default in employer searches.
·Mutual interest required before contact details are revealed.
·Workers can revoke an employer's access at any time.

ISO 27001 in progress

We're targeting ISO 27001 certification by Q3 2026. Internal controls — access logs, role-based access, encryption-in-transit — are already in place.

·TLS 1.3 in transit; names, phone numbers, and other sensitive fields encrypted with AES-256 at rest.
·Role-based access control with quarterly reviews.
·Audit logs retained for 1 year.
